i suppose one of the reasons i don't have time to watch TV and hang out much like normal people is that i spend too much time online blogging and trying to make a couple of bucks... this whole election thing has really tilted my psyche. i thought i was a Christian, but, according to many 'real' Christians my reaction to a baby butchering president is not bearing fruit...

To notswift - Again, let's not be hypocritical picking and choosing our sins! The bible also says that LYING is an abomination to God! Whether big, little or deception, it is still sin! Shedding of innocent blood....hummmmm. Child pornography and human trafficking of children is increasing right here in the USA! It's America's hidden secret! Children in the USA and abroad are being kidnapped and used as sex slaves right here and aboard!! It's scarry! Therefore, the shedding of innocent blood is more than about abortion! Also, it's one thing to be pro-life, but it's another to have talk and no action in our support of pro-life! Are you assisting in developing ministerial programs to help the mother! Keep in mind, Obama isn't the one who commits the ACT! It's the mother and the doctor! This is completely ignored!! Each individual has control of their bodies and are accountable to God individually!! If your thoughts are what they are to Obama, I'd hate to think what they are to the mother and the doctor!! How would you minister to them without the heart of judge and condemnation! Obama can overturn Roe -v- Wade, but that would not stop people doing as they wish with their bodies! How would Jesus handle these people? I don't think it would be the same as you! If God converted the Apostle Paul, do you think he can do the same for Obama, the mother and the doctor!! People need to stop hiding behind abortion as an excuse for their distain for this man getting elected! Again, LYING is a sin! It is not greater sin than abortion. Lying is lying and it is an abomination to GOD!! Period!! I'm sure we all should confess our sins and repent daily if we are true Christians, rather than worrying about others doing so!! I think God would like that!!

Hypocritical? I never said I was without sin. This is not about me - I have repented for the blood I have shed and have been forgiven by the grace of God and the blood of Jesus.
You are equating the shedding of innocent blood with lying, or pornography, or trafficking, or kidnapping? You are kidding, right? 4,000 children created in the image of God are murdered daily in their mother's wombs - murdered... not lied to, not sexually assaulted, not sold, not kidnapped, slapped, spit on, sat on, kicked, cut, smacked, left hungry, cold, or abandoned.... but, murdered! Dead. Gone. Destroyed. And, now, Obama wants to open the gates wide open by lifting the ban on baby cell cloning which shreds these little people into pieces to harvest the cloning of body parts; by allowing murder on demand regardless of circumstances - even a minor child can murder her own child without her parent's permission! This is madness!
Obama might as well be the butcher doing each and every act - he is the one who is lifting all of the bans which have saved thousands from being destroyed before they could utter a word in their own defense. Babies are not a 'part' of their mother's body. They are put there by God to be nurtured by their mother. Babies are not part of a woman's biological makeup. We do not live in the dark ages - scientifically speaking, that is. But seemingly, many are living in this theological dark age of death on demand.
Yes, Ann, there are sins greater in offense to God than others. Why did God destroy Sodom by fire? All of earth by the flood? His chosen people by their enemy? For lying? I think not. "Why do you beautify your way to seek love? Therefore you have also taught the wicked women your ways. Also on your skirts is found the blood of the lives of the poor innocents. I have not found it by secret search, but plainly on all these things."Jer 2:33,34
We openly slaughter our innocent children. Isn't this a greater sin? Don't you feel a tug at your heart, Ann? Shouldn't the Holy Spirit indwelling all Christians thirst for His righteousness and spur us to action in defending our most vulnerable people?
Disdain for Obama is not just for his pro-abortion action. But, do you need any other reason? Really.
